Office Update: Top 25 Brand Name and Generic Prescription Drugs

This course will review the top 25 brand name and generic drugs by prescription sales in the US.
Today’s dental patients frequently present for treatment having taken a number of medications that can impact dental management. Knowledge of the side effects and potential drug interactions involved with these medications can be crucial for effective dental treatment to take place.
This course will inform the general practitioner of the clinical uses of these medications, and side effects that may impact both oral health and the dental management of the patient. Participants will leave with a thorough understanding of which drug interactions may be clinically relevant.
