New Approaches to Complex Removable and Implant Prosthodontics: A Review & Workshop for General Dentists

Boston, MA •Wednesday, October 5, 2016 • 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Do you resist making removable partial dentures?

Combined removable partial dentures can be a satisfying and productive part of your practice!

Removable partial dentures (RPD) have been available for many years, yet many dental practices do not present this treatment option to their patients. This course is designed to allow the dental professional to investigate all potential treatment options prior to initiating a treatment plan and to achieve exceptional outcomes by combining different treatment modalities.

Participants will receive a thorough overview and update of all the new materials, indications, limitations, laboratory consideration, various designs, fabrication techniques, and treatment options. Discussion will focus on practical methods for overcoming obstacles and troubleshooting issues, in order to provide a framework for consistent success. Case studies will be used to highlight the treatment planning process.

By the completion of this course, participants will have had the opportunity to practice techniques used to improve their ability to make comfortable, predictable RPD. Hands-on workshops will focus on the use of dental implants, attachment protocol and CAD/CAM technology.
