"Pearls" of Pediatric Dentistry: Understanding New Concepts in Today's Pediatric Dental Practice (Two-Day Course!)

IThis two day course will give you and your team valuable tools to treat children of all ages. Day One’slecture will offer participants “pearls” of clinical techniques including caries control and prevention, the latest materials updates, and helpful information on the business side of pediatric dentistry.

Day Two
 will offer step-by-step instruction on clinical procedures, including pulp therapy, stainless steel crowns, use of glass ionomers, and silver diamine fluoride. Throughout the course, you and your team will learn how to schedule better, communicate with parents and coworkers, and have control of your practice. By the end of the course, participants will see how treating kids and teens can be a benefit to their practice!

Practitioners are encouraged to bring their whole team. Learn how to work together to treat children, while minimizing work-related stress, and keeping your practice looking great!

This program includes two breakout sessions to provide auxiliaries and administrative staff with tips and tricks tailored to their roles.

Cancellation Policy
The Division of Continuing Education reserves the right to end registration when enrollment limit is reached and to cancel, modify, or alter content or faculty for any course if circumstances indicate the need for such a change. If the school finds it necessary to cancel a course, a full refund will be granted. All attempts to contact registrants will be made as soon as possible in the event of a course cancellation. The school will not be held responsible for any losses due to travel arrangements made by the registrant.

In the event of inclement weather (such as a snow emergency) or other extenuating circumstances, the Division of Continuing Education may be forced to cancel a course. If a course has been cancelled, we will contact participants by the phone number and/or email address provided. You may call or email our office on the day of the course if you are uncertain of a course’s status.

Refunds

Full tuition refund or credit will be given for cancellations received at least two weeks prior to course date. Refunds or tuition credit will not be issued for:
  • Cancellations with less than 48-hours notice
  • Participant no-shows
