Implant Placement and Bone Grafting on Cadavers (Hands-On Course)

In this unique two-day course, Drs. Minichetti and Young will walk participants through a wide variety of implant and implant-related surgeries, such as flap design, socket and bone grafting, sinus lifts and ridge augmentation. Participants will receive ample opportunity to practice these new skills on cadavers, giving them the confidence to institute these surgeries in their dental repertoire.

Day One’s lectures will cover topics ranging from the ins and outs of placing implants on partially and fully edentulous patients to the best incision and suturing methods post-surgery. With the strong foundation established during the first day, participants will head into Day Two ready to put into practice their myriad new skills. Drs. Minichetti and Young will demonstrate the various dental implant techniques and then allow participants to practice on cadavers giving you the most true-to-life experience possible.

JOHN MINICHETTI, D.M.D. is a general dentist with more than 25 years of experience in placing and restoring implants. He is a fellow of both the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), where he recently served as President. He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry, and serves as an attending at Englewood Hospital in New Jersey.

MATTHEW R. YOUNG, D.D.S.
 is a general dentist with more than 25 years of experience in placing and restoring implants. He is a fellow of both the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), where he recently served as President. Cancellation Policy
The Division of Continuing Education reserves the right to end registration when enrollment limit is reached and to cancel, modify, or alter content or faculty for any course if circumstances indicate the need for such a change. If the school finds it necessary to cancel a course, a full refund will be granted. All attempts to contact registrants will be made as soon as possible in the event of a course cancellation. The school will not be held responsible for any losses due to travel arrangements made by the registrant.

In the event of inclement weather (such as a snow emergency) or other extenuating circumstances, the Division of Continuing Education may be forced to cancel a course. If a course has been cancelled, we will contact participants by the phone number and/or email address provided. You may call or email our office on the day of the course if you are uncertain of a course’s status.

Refunds

Full tuition refund or credit will be given for cancellations received at least two weeks prior to course date. Refunds or tuition credit will not be issued for participant no-shows.
