Periodontal Surgical Skills Workshop: Treating, Managing, and Beating Up on Periodontal Disease

Feeling helpless when that well-treated periodontal case relapses? Mad at a patient because they are not flossing enough? Join Dr. Kohner for this 2-day hands-on course and learn how to better understand the diagnosis, treatment, and maintenance of periodontal disease. By the conclusion of the course, participants will feel comfortable with different kinds of treatments, and the potential success of these approaches, whether they choose to do some of it themselves or refer it out.

In the extensive workshop sessions, participants will learn to enhance or develop skills in basic periodontal flap surgery, and show the potential for a non-surgical and/or minimally invasive approach. Please note that this is a short-term course meant to introduce providers to these procedures and is not a guarantee of competency.

Dr. Kohner is experienced with both surgical and non-surgical care, and is a frequent presenter at meetings of the American Academy of Periodontology. He has also lectured previously at the AGD Annual Session, Chicago Midwinter Dental Meeting, Greater New York Dental Meeting, and many other dental meetings around the world.
