Successful Interdisciplinary Management of Complex Cases for the Dental Practitioner
Boston, MA • November 3, 2017, 9:00 AM - November 4, 2017, 3:00 PM
All dentists want to be able to offer the best care possible. Sometimes, however, dentists are faced with cases requiring a multidisciplinary treatment approach in order to address the multiple and varied dental health needs of their patients. If this has happened to you and you struggled to find a way to connect your patient with all the resources and specialists they needed, be sure not to miss out on this two-day course led by esteemed faculty members of the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine doctoral program.

Using an educational model called “Complex Case Management Seminars” that was developed here at Tufts, Drs. Mehta and Dragan will show participants how to incorporate interdisciplinary and interprofessional collaboration into daily practice. After hearing a series of real-life cases presented by the teams who provided the interdisciplinary care, interested participants will have the opportunity to bring in a case of their own for evaluation and discussion with Tufts faculty members and residents. Participants who would like to take part in this aspect of the course are asked to indicate their interest at the time of registration. Be sure not to miss this unique opportunity!
