In this full-day course, the instructors will help clinicians learn to identify soft-tissue mucosal disease and hard tissue radiographich pathology, including atypical presentations that vary from classic textbook pictures. Participants will have the opportunity to partake in case-based discussions to enhance their familiarity and understanding of the subject matter.
The hands-on portion of the program is designed to allow general dentists, specialists, residents, and students comfortable performing uncomplicated soft-tissue biopsies under local anesthesia in out-patient settings. Attendees will also have the opportunity to use their smartphones, laptops, tablets, or other Wi-Fi-enabled devices to participate in differential diagnosis exercises.
